Welcome to Santa Fe Basketball Camps! After being founded in 2011 by William Lenfestey and D.J. Casados, Santa Fe Basketball Camps has strived to create a fun, positive environment that allows kids to learn the important lessons of basketball - that success in life really is about dedication, perserverance, being passionate, and always reaching to do one's best. We emphasize enjoying the game is so much more important than simply winning the game; instead we encourage kids to "stay in the game" and make healthy, responsible choices.
Throughout the week, the campers go through a challenging yet fun program full of scrimmages and drills. The camps are hosted at Patrick Smith Park on East Alameda Street. Patrick Smith provides two regulation-sized courts, water fountains (if they are needed), and close proximity to public bathrooms.
William Lenfestey and D.J. Casados have both played Varsity Basketball at Santa Fe Prep since their Freshman year. Both are captains of the team, and William won All Tournament Rehobeth Invitational, All Tournament Capitol City Team, and 2AA First Team All-District. William also broke a school record during his Sophomore year, when the Prep team went to state semi-finals.
